A Little bit about Jennifer Lynn Olson

Jennifer was born and bred in the Twin Cities area. She grew up in the Northeast Minneapolis/St. Anthony area where she attended St. Anthony Village High School. While in high school Jennifer was active in gymnastics, and the Patriots Marching Band. After high school, Jennifer attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout and obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Retail Merchandising and Management with a minor in Business Administration. 

After college, Jennifer worked in the retail environment at Gap, Dayton Hudson’s, and Glamour Shots. After a couple of years she found her passion in the consumer package industry when she became a Territory Manager for Campbell Soup Company. She excelled at Campbell’s and become one of the top Territory Mangers within the company when she received a coveted Merit Award at the 2003 National Sales meeting. After Campbell’s she worked at Cadbury Schweppes American Beverages, ConAgra Foods, and Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Currently Jennifer is a Sr. Category Analyst for Hanes Brands calling on Target. 

Jennifer’s family includes her husband  Shawn of 7 years, her mom Cristina Drews, father David Drews, brother Mike Drews, and her 4 legged children of 2 dogs; Dino (toy poodle), Lil (German Shepard) and two cats Cleo, and L.T.

Jennifer’s volunteering includes being active in the Northeast Minneapolis Royalty Scholarship Program as a board member and Treasurer of the Board. She is also active in the St. Paul Winter Carnival as an Ambassador, and a St. Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation Member. Jennifer also enjoys being part of Toastmasters 2019 Sales and Marketing group. She is currently the President of the club for the 2008-2009 fiscal year and the first female president in the history of the club, it was founded 50 years ago.

In Jennifer’s free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, scrap booking, working out, playing with her 4 legged children, decorating her house, and reading.
