So I know that it has been a while since I have updated my blog. June was a crazy month. As the Treasure of the Board for the NE Mpls Royalty Scholarship program and the Senior Candidate Chaperone I was on the go all month. The candidates held a car wash, participated in a fashion show at NE Eldercare, had a limo ride around NE Mpls, rode in the NE Mpls parade, and participated in Coronation. I am really excited to get to know the new Ambassadors as I chaperone/escort them to coronations over the next few months.
Once NE Mpls Royalty stuff was done, I really needed a break. So that is what I did for the past two weekends. I relaxed, played a little golf, and laid by the pool at the club. Now it is time to get back to work. As President of Toastmasters 2019 Sales and Marketing Club I have stuff to get ready for our upcoming year. I will be the first president of the club in its entire history.
I also went up to visit the Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, MN. It is not open to the public, but as a volunteer I am able to visit the sanctuary. There are 100 rescued cats that range from Tigers to Bengal cats that are the size of regular house cats but are given up due to not liking to use the little box in many cases.
Until next time. This weekend I am judging the MN Co-Ed Pageant.
